From Sea To Table: A special thanks to the people that help Buru Boat have a heart.

At Buru Boat, we believe that every meal should tell a story and ours starts right here, in Panermos Bay. The fresh fish we serve onboard isn't just “local.” It's personal. Every morning, we get our catch from Captain Dimitris (galanogiannis_boat), a trusted fisherman who has worked hand in hand with Captain Voula the last three years and without whose help and support serving fish onboard would not have been the same. No middlemen, no frozen shipments, just what the Aegean sea offers to Captain Dimitris that day, respectfully taken and lovingly prepared for you to enjoy on deck, surrounded by the same Cycladic waters it came from. This deep connection to nature isn’t just about the fish. It’s in our roots. Grandfather and father are both farmers, raising animals and tending the land with care. That spirit continues onboard. Everything we cook and serve is bio, real, seasonal, and full of flavor. We hand-collect sea salt from the rocks near Panermos, gather wild capers and pick lemons and oranges from our family’s garden trees. We collect and dry oregano and other herbs and we produce and use only our own olive oil onboard. Most of the things you taste, if not everything, are locally sourced. These aren’t just ingredients, they’re memories, traditions, and the true taste of the island. We can’t wait to serve you onboard a salad with our homemade xinomizithra goat cheese our grandfathers specialite, our garden’s tomatoes and cucumbers and showcase you how much love and care we put in each thing you will taste and experience onboard!
